Cabaret of Memoirs

Cabaret of Memoirs is now into its third year and going stronger than ever. Funded by Age UK Camden, the project targets older people trapped in cycles of loneliness and social exclusion. Workshops are delivered in local care homes and sheltered housing, engaging older people in performing, poetry and singing. Then a cabaret is held monthly at the local community centre where the participants meet to perform the pieces they have been working on to a small audience alongside watching performances from guests artists that have included opera singers and xx.
