Refugee Week

During four consecutive years SeeThrough Theatre Company delivered drama, music and craft workshops in Lewisham borough in collaboration with Lewisham Refugee Network. The workshops took place in several primary schools and other local organisations in the build up to the celebrations of Refugee Week. The participants had the opportunities to explore in a fun, positive and accessible way themes such as: community spirit, where home is, and the value and cultural contribution of the refugee in society. The projects culminated in a mini festival in which performances and exhibitions created by the participants were presented to the wider community.
