Commedia De l’arte - International Circus Festival

As part of the International Circus festival in Recife/Brazil, SeeThrough Theatre delivered a series of workshops for drama students of the Federal University of Pernanbuco. The students explored the techniques and history of the Commedia de l’arte style and created a final play which was performed in the outdoor spaces of the university. The students also explored adapting the style of Commedia de l’arte in the Brazilian context.
